I recieved an update regarding the NHMC CME, to be held on 4th July, Saturday, afternoon 2pm to 4pm in the college campus. This would be a discussion on Common Skin Ailments and Homoeopathy. Dr V. K. Khanna, Dr A.K. Gupta, and Dr S. Verma would be the panelists.
Regarding treating skin diseases, some 10-12 years before, we have seen a book titled “Dermatology for Homoeopaths” by Dr. Ramji Gupta, Hon. Prof. of Derm., NHMC and Dr. RK Manchanda, NHMCian. This is a wonderful book. In the foreword to this book, Dr. DP Rastogi, ex-Principal, NHMC, says, “A homeopathic physician has to make 2 diagnoses – one of the disease and other of the patient, and this book, a combination of information about disease diagnosis and its homeopathic treatment pertaining to dermatology, should prove useful to us – we homeopathic physicians”. Yes, it is one of the good compendiums with us, and if you don’t have it, then fetch a copy of it from B. Jain Publishers soon.
Today, in NHMC campus, I met one of my friends, Dr. Ajay Grover, who is heading de-addiction centers in Navjyoti. As you know, Navjyoti is the dream project of then DCP Mrs. Kiran Bedi, who is still nurturing this project. One of NHMCians, Dr. JPS Bakshi, was associated with her in setting-up clinics in different areas of Delhi for treating drug-addicts and alcoholics. With his best skills, Dr. Bakshi proved the efficacy of homeopathic system in treating such cases, which was appreciated worldwide. Well, Dr. Grover, NHMCian, is looking for some young homeopathic doctors for Navjyoti clinics, and is willing to extend all his possible best help for our community. If you find anyone who needs some help to start his/her career, please pass Dr. Grover’s mobile no. 99102-49486, and I am sure he would be able to help the NHMCian.
Just to remind you again, try to attend the CME and update your prescribing skills.
Enjoy the day.
