Independence Day of INDIA is celebrated on Fifteen of August to commemorate its independence from British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation in 1947. The Independence day is a national holiday in India. All over the country, flag-hoisting ceremonies are conducted by the local administration in attendance.<\/p>\n
The main event of the Independence day takes place in Delhi, the capital city of India, where the Prime Minister hoists the national flag at the Red Fort and delivers a nationally televised speech from its ramparts. The Prime Minister also pays his tribute to leaders of the freedom struggle.<\/p>\n
Well, my previous generations participated in this freedom struggle, paid the charges for the development of this free society. I was born in 64 so I can not feel the pain and trauma of my previous generation. I heard the stories from my grand-mother about the horrified situations at the time of separation. Amidst all the teething problems after our independence we are still struggling and fighting.<\/p>\n
What can we do? Can we have an end to this struggling?<\/p>\n
I feel if we start thinking and start feeling that India is prosperous, wealthy and healthy, I believe our love and happiness associated with the feeling will definately create our India prosperous, wealthy and healthy. I think in past 64 years the proportion of the development, growth and success is much more than the percentage of other dark side of the picture. We should be grateful for this massive development and advancement in all ways in our economy. We should love it. We all should work together to make it more prosperous.<\/p>\n
Pledge yourself to do a good act daily that makes my India, your India and OUR INDIA a prosperous, wealthy and healthy nation.<\/p>\n
