As winter is approaching, and we find skin related problems in our patients. I analyzed 3 rubrics from Kent’s Repertory<\/strong> to see how winter<\/a> is affecting skin symptoms.<\/p>\n

I considered:<\/p>\n

Skin; CRACKS; winter, in<\/strong> (9 remedies) — Kent’s Repertory is having 1 rubric Cracks where Kent added a small group of homeopathic medicines which have affinity to aggravate this skin symptom in winter weather. This is the only sub-rubric which is having winter aggravation in Kent’s repertory.<\/p>\n

Skin; ERUPTIONS; winter<\/strong> (15 remedies) — A general rubric we find related to any skin eruption condition aggravating in winter.<\/p>\n

Generalities; WINTER, in<\/strong> (68 remedies) — A general rubric where the patient as a whole is worse in winter weather.<\/p>\n

Intertrigo; psoriasis of hands.\u00a0 THICK, GREENISH CRUSTS, BURNING AND ITCHING; REDNESS, RAW; CRACKS BLEED EASILY.\u00a0 Eczema.\u00a0 Rhagades WORSE IN WINTER.<\/p>\n

Well, this is a very simple analysis about winter and skin. For prescribing homeopathic remedy to a patient, you need to be careful about patient’s symptoms and the philosophy behind the repertory through which you are analyzing your case<\/span>.<\/p>\n
